Ian is a freelance producer based in Los Angeles.

He got his start working in TV in his home state of Nebraska, starting as a PA and moving to Associate Producer with NET Television, Nebraska’s PBS affiliate. In 2007, he moved to Chicago to sharpen his skills and began working with local powerhouse Towers Productions.

Never thinking that he would shift from corn stalks to gang members, Ian dove in for the first season of History Channel’s highly rated, “Gangland” series. He went on to produce five episodes of the program, culminating in the very last episode, "Death Before Dishonor," which he wrote and produced.

Ian went freelance in 2010 and didn't look back. His work has branched out to include sports programming, reality & docu-drama, corporate, and educational content.

"I can see a show from development to delivery. I pride myself on my professionalism, communication, and ability to work with everyone from PA to EP."

Ian likes to run, play chess, cook & eat, travel, and wishes he could someday keep a plant alive.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Nebraska.
